What is Live-In Home Support?
Live-in home support and companionship for seniors offer a comprehensive and holistic alternative to traditional residential care. When an individual’s care and assistance requirements extend beyond approximately 6-8 hours daily, having a dedicated caregiver living in the home around the clock can provide reassurance, comfort, and peace of mind.
This type of care is delivered by carefully matched caregivers who live alongside their clients, assisting with all as- pects of daily living. Available 7 days a week, 365 days a year, live-in support typically involves two CDN ElderCare caregivers working together on a rotational schedule. This might mean week-on/week-off shifts or alternating shifts, depending on the arrangement. Our caregivers are employed directly by us; we do not rely on agency staff to assemble care packages.
